How is training delivered?

CDT training is delivered using audio, video, images, quizzes and exams.

How are courses structured?

Each course is a group of key topics that contain lessons, scenarios and a quiz.

Are quizzes graded?

Key topic quizzes are not graded. The final test is graded on each course. You will be able to see correct and incorrect answers at the end of each quiz and exam.

How do I begin or resume a course?

You can begin or continue your course, once logged in, from:
The ‘My account’ page by clicking on the title of your registered course or on the ‘My Courses’ thumbnail.
The ‘My account’ page, by clicking on ‘Resume last lesson/topic’.
The ‘Online courses’ page by clicking on the course name. Then go to the course key topic drop downs.

How do I play and pause a lesson?

To begin each lesson, click the play button in the middle of the screen. You can pause by pressing the same button at any time.

Can I skip ahead?

You may not skip ahead when you first take the course.

How do I move through lessons?

After each lesson, click ‘Next’ at the end of each video.

How do I save where I am up to and resume later?

If you need to stop doing a course to resume later, click ‘Save and Close’.

Why does a screen idle button pop up?

If you leave the screen idle for 5 mins you will be asked to confirm that you are still working on the course.

Will I receive a certificate of completion?

Once you have successfully completed each course and passed the final exam, you will be able to print a certificate of completion.

Can I retake a final exam if I don’t pass the first time?

You can retake an exam if you don’t pass the first time by clicking on the course in the ‘My Account’ tab or the ‘Online courses’ tab and navigating to the final exam at the end of the course.

I purchased a single user account, can I add another person to my account?

If you would like to upgrade your account to add another user, go to ‘My Account’ and then click ‘Upgrade License to Group’.

Can I edit my CDTdot.com profile information?

You may edit your profile from the ‘My Account’ page.
